In contract with Squishables, we were given a month and a half time span to move into the space of Fashion Institute of Technology’s Pomerantz building with our farm animals. This limited time exhibition showcased how these plushies would be able to give comfort to people of all ages in many ways. Each area had their own way of comfort; For example in the farm area people would be able to pick out their own apple or corn that would reveal a special uplifting message to make them feel included!

Fabrication of this project included adhesive printed vinyl was pasted onto various kinds of foam core, cut out and then layered on top of each other strategically to achieve a three dimensional look. The journey into the exhibition starts down the road to the farm. Visitors are greeted by mini apple, mini cow, jumbo corn and the rest of the Squishable family. They then head over to the rest of the exhibition which includes camping, spooky, fantasy, alchemy, garden, and kawaii.
